FIGHTING THE ORDINARY

THE FIGHTFIT PHILOSOPHY

FightFit has been our passion since 2005. We have evolved and improved upon the program over the years based on our hands-on instruction and feedback from our members. What you see today is a culmination of that work. We call it “Fighting the Ordinary."

”Fighting the Ordinary means designing workouts that you won’t find at other big box gyms or boutique fitness centers.

Fighting the Ordinary means having a diverse set of workouts that keeps members from getting bored with the typical day-in, day-out exercise routine.

Fighting the Ordinary means having a program that has broad appeal, where you’ll find a diverse group of members, from former jocks to businessmen to stay-at-home moms to everything in between. Over the years, our members have found some of their best friends through FightFit.

Fighting the Ordinary means having fun. Working out isn’t always fun, but we do our best at keeping it light and poking fun at ourselves. You’ll even see us having fun with the names of our workouts.

THE FIGHTFIT METHOD

HOW WE HAVE PERFECTED THE WORKOUT

FightFit combines elements of boxing, strength training, functional movement and high intensity interval training into a diverse and dynamic workout. We’ve developed over 100 unique workouts from a library of over 200 exercises. The variety of movements allows us to target every major muscle group while avoiding burnout and overuse.

STRIKING

Striking a heavy bag is not only an excellent calorie-burner and musculo-skeletal exercise, it’s also highly cathartic. People like hitting things that don’t hit back.

H.I.I.T.

High Intensity Interval Training provides superior cardio training in a condensed time-frame, providing more bang for your exercise buck.

STRENGTH

Strength training improves bone density and makes everyday activities easier. We’re not throwing around heavy weight in our classes but you’ll feel it when you’re done. The weighted, high repetition movements focus on building endurance.

FUNCTION

Functional training, which focuses on core and proper moving and lifting techniques makes everyday tasks easier to perform.
