Our workouts typically combine some “bag work”, body weight exercises and weighted exercises.
You may get sore, but you won’t get hurt. FightFit is a fitness program, it is not a martial art and it is not boxing. Our certified instructors are trained to teach you the proper techniques to safely perform each exercise.
Don’t worry, most of our students have never boxed before. Your certified instructor will demonstrate proper form so that you will impact the bag correctly, getting the most from the exercise while reducing your risk of injury.
No, it is not necessary. Your local FightFit gym will have all the required equipment. However, we do recommend picking up a set of sparring/training gloves, so that you don’t have to share.
FightFit can be intense if you let it be, but you’re in control of your workout. We recommend taking it slow and gradually building up your repetitions and weight. Always let your instructor know if you’re new or require modifications to any of the exercises. Almost all exercises have modifications for those that have restricted movement or just need a less rigorous workout.
